Branislava Antović Aleksić is a graduate journalist, founder and editor-in-chief of BDW Magazine, and the author of the podcast OdaBrana priča.

She graduated from the Faculty of Political Sciences University of Belgrade and began her career in digital media in 2010 by launching a blog, which she successfully transformed over the years into an independent and socially engaged media platform.

She is recognized for her authentic voice and distinctive blend of seemingly different topics — from fashion and the aesthetics of everyday life to socially and politically engaged commentary. By building her own path without adapting to fleeting trends or the fast-paced demands of algorithms, she has preserved her professional integrity and earned the deep trust of her community.

Alongside editing her own platform, she is a regular columnist for Danas and Buro Serbia.

She consciously uses her public platform and digital channels to highlight social issues and encourage dialogue around important topics, with a particular focus on gender equality and women’s empowerment. Her work is also marked by continuous support for the local fashion and cultural scene, as well as women’s entrepreneurship, striving to contribute to a more aware and equal society through every spoken and written word.
