"A successful 21st-century business with no online presence is hard to imagine. But there are right and wrong ways to do it. The net opens up infinite possibilities but also many challenges for businesses. Every step, right or wrong, is globally visible to all, and so they need to tread carefully. For example, unaware of the danger, business people will often say something is theirs, when really it is someone else’s. They also tend to be negligent towards the primary building-blocks of their online presence, as well as failing to look at the Internet from Google’s perspective.
